Orientation at new School

Ok, so last night we went to Orientation at SA's new school, PIS. This morning we had the discussion of the difference btwn elementary and intermediate. Bless her heart, last night I couldn't tell if she was going to throw up or hit the floor. To say she was nervous is an understatement. One of the things I noticed was how mature and tall she looked compared to the other kids. Wow, my baby is growing up too fast. (I think I've said this before, and lately) She will have 4 teachers this year. It's the first time to change classes. And, she'll have a locker. That's new too but she's excited about that. I keep telling her how awesome a personality she has and that she'll make friends easy. She always does. So far, I'm not getting through. I think it's going to be a great year. She wants to wear jeans and a t-shirt on the first day. I said no, of course. She thinks she's a tomboy. :)

On a different note, when TJ brought EC (they came in his car from work) she came into the classroom saying "Mama!" with her arms outstretched. I love how at the end of everyday she greets me like it's been weeks since we've seen each other. I hope it stays that way for a while. :)
