What an exciting and somewhat traumatic day we had. I got a call from Josh a little before 11:00 saying that I needed to pick Sarah Austin up from VBS bc Jenn was in labor and already 8cms. WHAT? I thought he was joking bc that's typical Josh. He wasn't. We all rushed to the hospital and long story short... baby Brewer #2 was born at 1:02p.m. I don't have a picture yet bc I haven't seen him (He's in the NICU and since Emma Cate has had a cold, I didn't want to chance giving him any germs I might be carrying) and my batteries were dead. He weighed 4lbs.9oz. so the neonatalogist thinks he may have been a little further along. We sure hope so. He's doing great considering. Other than an IV that's giving him nutrients and a breathing tube bc he was having a bit of trouble, he's hanging in there and doing wonderfully well. Jenn and Josh are doing well too. :) I think the shock that they have their baby boy so early is starting to wear off. Please keep them all in your prayers. I can't imagine having my baby hooked up to so many wires and not being able to hold him, but they know he is healthy and will be home soon. Pray for his strength to grow daily, that he will breath on his own soon and that his parents will rest knowing he's in good hands.
I'll update with a picture as soon as I can. TJ and I will be traveling to Dallas tmrw so it will be next week before I can post with an update.

Goodness! They will be in my thoughts! I guess I didn't even realize she was expecting another one, did I? I'm harebrained these days. Be careful in your travels.
