I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!

Wow, it has been a whirlwind couple of weeks. T.J. and I are officially engaged and getting married on Saturday, October 15. Yes, that's this Saturday. We've actually been engaged for almost 2 weeks now and I'm just now sitting down to blog about it. ( Per my dear friend, Jen's demand... I mean request ;)

T.J. and I have been planning a week long trip to the mountains with his family for the second week in November. What I didn't know was that he was planning to propose there. We had talked about the fact we both wanted a short engagement, so Iwas thinking the week of Thanksgiving would be perfect because my brother will be flying in from California that week. But, as it turns out my mom's Hep C is back and she will begin her treatment on Oct. 20. It will be rigorous treatment for a full year.After talking it out, he and I decided we didn't see the need to wait another month when we could get married now while mama's feeling good. She is such an inspiring lady. I believe she is as excited as I am and is helping me plan so much. I couldn't do it without her.

Needless to say, it has been a full couple of weeks, but very exciting. You'd be surprised how quick you can put the perfect wedding together. :) It will be at my parents' home in South Montgomery County. I will be sure and post pics as soon as possible. Please keep us in your prayers. Thankfully, Sarah Austin loves him and he loves her. She is very excited and I am very grateful. I have prayed for this man for I believe all my life. I truly appreciate his character and my ability ( thanks to The Lord) to see his wonderful qualities. My Father never ceases to amaze me at His goodness. Regardless of how undeserving we are, He blesses us so far beyond what we could even ask for. I can't wait to start the rest of my life with the man of my dreams.
